I am an Architect engineer who has graduated from the University of Portsmouth, England UK- Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, Diploma in Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, Diploma in Architecture and Master in Architecture with merit titled “Material criticism in Architectural Historiography”.
I have set up my own architectural practice since 2007 with several architectural studies on residential, tourism and retail projects. In 2009 I worked for the Service of Modern Monuments and Technical Works of Northern Aegean in Mytilene.
In 2018 I established along with three fellow engineers a technical and construction company named Total Design. Total Design.
Between 2016 and 2020 I served as a member of the Architectural Council of Lesvos and Limnos.
I believe that the architectural study is a continuous process on multiple levels.
Through the compositional process every problem becomes a design opportunity. The “conceptual idea” brings together elements such as function – use – durability – construction method and the client’s program.
At the same time, Architecture as an art should also offer a special experience of the proposed space, transforming the building-elements to a “language” that the architect uses in order to communicate ideas with the person that inhabits the space. Architect is the one that should guide the inhabitant through a different path and offer a different perspective (not known so far) of the proposed solution that will make the experience of the new space unique.
